Marking two milestones, Ahmed Seddiqi and Gerald Charles present a pair of ‘Tiger’s Eye’ creations – the Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin and the Maestro 9.0 Tourbillon – honouring 75 years of Ahmed Seddiqi and 25 years of Gerald Charles.

Together, the two editions reflect shared values of artistry, precision, and horological vision, offering two distinct expressions of the ‘Tiger’s Eye’: one sleek and ultra-slim, the other sculptural and mechanically complex.

Natural artistry, modern expression

These limited edition pieces feature a dial crafted from Tiger’s Eye, a rare stone admired for its golden shimmer and depth. Free of indices, the design lets the natural beauty of the stone take centre stage, brought to life through meticulous craftsmanship.

The Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin, limited to 20 pieces, is powered by the slim GCA2000 calibre. The movement is just 3.7 mm thick and offers hours, minutes, seconds, and a date at 6 o’clock, with refined Swiss finishing throughout.

A case shaped by heritage

Framed by Gerald Charles’ signature Maestro case, both editions debut the Maison’s first Colormix finish on the exterior. A bronzed brown tone, developed through proprietary treatments and reinforced for external use, adds warmth, durability, and a distinctive identity that is echoed on the buckle. Paired with a sand-toned vulcanised rubber strap, the combination evokes the golden desert landscapes of the UAE, connecting watchmaking craft to regional heritage.

Craft and Motion in the Maestro 9.0 Tourbillon

Limited to just three pieces, the Maestro 9.0 Tourbillon elevates the ‘Tiger’s Eye’ concept with the Calibre 9.0, featuring a 60-second tourbillon housed in a custom titanium cage shaped like the Gerald Charles logo. A 22K rose-gold oscillating mass engraved with the brand’s honeycomb pattern and a stop-seconds mechanism for precision setting underscore this piece’s technical sophistication.
